In a first stage, this essay has as an objective, search, sistematization and analysis of the ideas that originated and sustianed the Scholar Museums Program of the National Institute of Anthropologoy and History. The pretention is to colaborate in the recovering of the memory of those key actors who produced and executed the museological projects that had as an objective communitary participation as a main activity of the museum, and whose work had impanct in Mexico and abroad. This subject, institutional programs focused on children and young people, has not been studied in deep, and for the new generations is unknown.
