This article analyzes the link between the Internet -abundant source of information- and partisan attachment, considering the evaluation of three surveys. The authors found that these elements are related, however, that link is mediated by age, which relegates the Internet to be more a resource than a factor. Thus, and taking into account a psychological approach of voting, it can be assumed that citizens are relatively poorly informed and that partisan attachment determines their electoral behavior, however, given the arrival of new information technologies, other theories assume that voters are more rational.
