This essay analyzes public image crisis of the Legislative Power in Mexico in its national and local dirnensions, A diagnosis is made of the perceptions citizens have of the legislators on the following variables: trust, citizenscredibility and perceptions about corruption.

It discuses the factors that originated this public image crisis and, at the end, a number of suggestions are made on how to reconstruct both, the image of the Parliament and of the legislators.
