Abstract

ANINO GRANADOS, Isabel  and  GARRIDO-ROMAN, Mar. Aesthetics and Responsibility: a Connective Artistic Experience. An. Inst. Investig. Estét [online]. 2025, vol.47, n.126, pp.343-378.  Epub Sep 01, 2025. ISSN 0185-1276.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iie.18703062e.2025.126.2883..

This research report argues that artistic practices based on connective aesthetics emphasize the ethical dimension of aesthetics as the philosophical foundation of art and demonstrate its transformative capacity towards a more mature and supportive society. By disengaging from the dynamics of production and consumption, art acts as resistance against these homogenizing processes. A case study is presented which, along with the participants’ comments, reveals how art can bridge our responsibility with the legal realm.

Keywords : aesthetics; relational art; law (discipline); responsibility; community (social groups).
