Abstract

The subfamily Coccophaginae in Mexico consists in three tribes and six genera, and comprises about 70% of Mexican fauna of the family Aphelinidae. This subfamily includes the most diverse genera, Encarsia Förster and Coccophagus Westwood with 108 and 30 Mexican species, respectively. A key to the genera of Coccophaginae in Mexico is provided. A new species, Coccobius frontalis sp. nov., is described and illustrated.
