The objective of this article is to formulate a proposal for the analysis of the Peruvian model of the precedent system. This is done with the purpose of: 1) providing a reconstruction that serves as an introduction to the Peruvian precedent system; and 2) offering a framework for various Peruvian legal doctrines to present and/or deepen their discussions on precedent matters.
