Non-neoplastic mediastinal lesions of the mediastinum comprise a heterogeneous group of diseases that do not show a specific compartmental location; Radiologically, its characteristics can guide the diagnosis, the best follow-up method, as well as treatment and prognosis. Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features provide better patient selection for therapeutic interventions. The present review provides the radiological findings of this group of diseases.
