Abstract
GARCIA DE LA SIENRA, Adolfo. The Logical Structure of Game Theory. Crítica (Méx., D.F.) [online]. 2009, vol.41, n.122, pp.3-27. Epub Apr 24, 2020. ISSN 0011-1503. https://doi.org/10.22201/iifs.18704905e.2009.937.
The literature on game theory (TJ) is usually concerned with providing formulations of the same that are enough to consider specific applications (almost always in economics or political science), or to prove the existence of equilibria. This paper is devoted to provide a systematic logical reconstruction of TJ whose aim is to determine its basic theory-element through the formulation of its fundamental law. After defining the concepts of strategy, it proceeds to show how any behavioral strategy determines a probability space over the histories of the game, as a prolegomenon to the definition of the concept of game and the treatment of the problem of its empirical applicability.
Keywords : empirical applicability; constraints; structuralist view of theories.
