This article aims to reflect on the daily experiences and social interactions of Brazilians in Italy and other countries of Europe during the covid-19 pandemic, in the years 2020 and 2021. The pandemic, which began in January 2020, brought many changes to international scenarios of mobility and required immobility in the name of public health and controlling the spread of the SARS - CoV-2 virus. In the research presented here I used digital media to apply two questionnaires, via Google Forms, in 2020 and 2021. Invitations to participate in the research were extended through networks of contacts on the internet (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.), presenting the research, its objectives, and the ethical considerations that applied. Not being allowed to come and go as usual and, in some cases, not even being able to leave the house, during the most intense period of the pandemic, was described as a shocking experience in their daily lives.
