OLIVEIRA, Iasmim; ZANELLO, Valeska y COSTA, Anderson da. Mental health / Well-being of indigenous women. Punto CUNORTE [online]. 2026, n.22, e22300. Epub 09-Abr-2026. ISSN 2594-1852. https://doi.org/10.32870/punto.v12i22.300.
This study conducted an integrative review (2000-2025) on the mental health and well-being of Indigenous women, identifying psychosocial, cultural, and environmental factors linked to psychological distress. Analysis of 22 studies revealed a lack of gender-focused research and dominance of Western frameworks. It highlights the need for intercultural and communicative approaches sensitive to these women’s specificities.
