Resumen
TAPIA SILVA, Nancy Alejandra. Dissident Works: Feminist Academic Publishing at CIEG-UNAM. Debate fem. [online]. 2025, vol.70, e2523. Epub 18-Ago-2025. ISSN 2594-066X. https://doi.org/10.22201/cieg.2594066xe.2025.70.2523.
This article explores the topic of feminist academic editing, which entails the editing of works on gender studies and feminisms, as well as forms of organization that emphasize dialogue, collectivity and horizontality between the parties involved. I address the importance of feminist publishers as active agents with political power that define the public profile of feminism, and instigate political and social change. I also provide a detailed analysis of the Publishing Division of CIEG-UNAM in terms of feminist editorial practice and its political commitment regarding activism and academic rigor in two editorial projects, the Antimanual de la lengua española. Para un lenguaje no sexista (2022) and the Colección Itacate (2022), intended to disseminate key topics in gender studies and feminisms.
