Breast cancer is the most common neoplasia, with the highest mortality in women worldwide. The eleventh update of the Mexican Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer (2025) is published by its authors in different articles. This article includes the management of metastatic breast cancer, the adjuvant systemic treatment, the role of surgery and radiotherapy in metastatic disease, and follow-up after treatment with curative intent. The dissemination of this consensus contributes to the updating and homogeneity of breast cancer management of advanced stages.
