JERONIMO-JIMENEZ, Deisy María; HERNANDEZ-TRIANO, Leonardo y MARTINEZ-JIMENEZ, Rosa María. Organizational Learning: Individual Factor and Scientific Production in a University. Investig. adm. [online]. 2022, vol.51, n.129, 00003. Epub 21-Feb-2022. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav51n129.03.
Study based on the theory of Knowledge Management, using the Organizational Learning variable with its Individual Factor, whose objective was to demonstrate that said variable through the individual factor is related to the Scientific Productivity of University Teachers. The method was quantitative and non-experimental design, with Structural Equations Model. It is verified that the Individual Factor statistically has a causal influence of .73 on the Scientific Productivity variable, through altruism and self-efficacy, behavioral variables that have been studied in other areas. A limitation of the study is that it was only in one institution, so it cannot be generalized to other public higher education institutions. The effect of Altruism on Organizational Learning is a finding that opposes the extrinsic incentive that generates the conditions for employees to share their knowledge and contribute to learning.
