ZEPEDA HURTADO, María Elena; CARDOSO-ESPINOSA, Edgar Oliver y CORTES RUIZ, Jésica Alhelí. Student satisfaction with active learning methodologies combined with Artificial Intelligence tools. RIDE. Rev. Iberoam. Investig. Desarro. Educ [online]. 2025, vol.16, n.31, e1003. Epub 23-Mar-2026. ISSN 2007-7467. https://doi.org/10.23913/ride.v16i31.2719.
The objective of this research was to assess student satisfaction with the use of active methodologies combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to promote the development of communication skills and critical thinking in a group of 48 students enrolled in the first two semesters of high school. The research approach was quantitative with an exploratory-descriptive scope. Information was collected using a questionnaire organized according to a Likert scale. The results indicated that active methodologies, combined with the use of AI tools, promote the development of skills such as collaboration, adaptation to new technologies, informed decision-making, project management, and research. Disciplinary competencies are also developed related to written and oral expression, text analysis, argumentation, and creativity are also developed. However, the ethical use of technology and active methodologies effectiveness must be guaranteed, starting with the meticulous planning, development, and evaluation of learning (outcomes).
