VILLALOBOS PEREZ, Elizabeth  y  AGUILAR DELGADO, Miriam Jazmín. Economic, Social, and Cultural Repercussion of the Mennonite community in Chihuahua. Región y sociedad [online]. 2025, vol.37, e1964.  Epub 15-Feb-2026. ISSN 2448-4849.  https://doi.org/10.22198/rys2025/37/1964.

Objective: Analyzing the economic, social, and cultural effect of the Mennonite community in Chihuahua through a bibliographic review. Methodology: Compilation of academic and official sources on agricultural production, economic diversification, and Mennonite identity. The socioeconomic and cultural perspective is used. Results: One hundred and two years after their arrival, by actively participating in tasks, they have managed to integrate into the economic, social, and regional dynamics that have positive impact on different municipalities. Value: Understanding the internal and external dynamics that have shaped their economic development. Limitations: The study integrates Mennonite economy, society, and culture in Chihuahua. Conclusions: Their progress in traditional agricultural activities toward economic diversification reflects not only their resilience in the face of water scarcity, but also their ability to integrate their cultural practices into regional economic dynamics.
