This article studies the political corridos published by the Testamentary Press of Antonio Vanegas Arroyo between 1917 and 1928, through an exposition in three sections: 1) a profile of the Testamentary based on its production of printed materials; 2) analysis of the editorial configuration of the corridos; 3) proposal of an organization of them in four thematic cores, highlighting the main literary features of each text. The aim is to show that the political corridos published by the Testamentary offer complex representations of the events and characters of the Mexican Revolution, and that they are a transition between the splendor of popular printing at the end of the 19th century and the rise of lyrical formats in the 20th century. The value of this work lies largely in the fact that these materials allow to fully understand the configuration of such important literary genres as corridos and calaveras, despite which they have not been studied as a specific corpus.
