The article suggests a new way of studying, the relation between migration an human development considering the opinion and vision of all stakeholders. This theoretical-methodological proposal is based on "Capability Approach" of Amartya Sen. On this basis, a review is carried out of the main budgets in which the author developed along its successful academic activity. Through its critical review, it is proposed the use of an instrument that can reflect the implications of the migration phenomenon welfare for well-being of the families of migrants, as well a human development scale, that enable an indicator for each one of dimensions and variables under consideration.
