The intervention of psychologists in legal proceedings and their importance in judicial decisions in cases of child sexual abuse are particularly relevant. However, problems have been identified both in the overall quality of the reports and in the methodology applied in their elaboration. The main objective of this research was to analyse the extent to which forensic psychological reports in child sexual abuse cases meet the quality criteria proposed by good practice. By using a previously validated instrument, the quality of 60 forensic psychological reports in child sexual abuse cases was analysed, and subsequently, the descriptive statistics of the items that make up the instrument were analysed. From the results, it was concluded that there are several needs for improvement in performance, especially regarding the work methodology in the Mexican context.
