This article aims to highlight the productive and financial articulations that have allowed experiencing the social role of the financial system in Bolivia for the productive promotion of the common good in a temporality before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic. To this end, we analyze the behavior of the productive use of credit through microcredit in national currency, mainly for production and social housing, representing the financial support to artisans, micro, small and medium enterprises, peasant producers, indigenous peoples and economic organizations. In the context of the new pattern of accumulation with the social economic model of the productive community (MESCP), focused on social reproduction, it has been possible to reduce the local gaps between production and finance, which implies a new role for the financial system. In this economic model, it is demonstrated that the productive and financial articulations promoted through deposits and credit represent the return of the social role of the financial system, with access to financing to create conditions that allow the return to a functioning economy with economic justice and social equality.
