This essay evaluates the work of five state electoral bodies inserted in a context of predominant parties to observe whether this has led them to support the parties in government, as suggested by the promoters of the 2014 reform, or have achieved a independent operation. This is done through the study of the assignments of proportional representation (PR) deputies from their origin until 2019 when their permanence has again been questioned.
