^les^aEl objetivo de este artículo es analizar el concepto de cosmopolitismo en el contexto actual, la evolución de su significado y las diferentes acepciones que los debates han generado. Tomando como punto de partida la taxonomía de Kleingeld, se formula una aportación teórica que incluye una categorización de lo que representa el cosmopolitismo hoy. El trabajo consta de dos secciones, la primera relacionada con el desarrollo del concepto y la segunda con las distintas acepciones que podemos encontrar en el estudio del cosmopolitismo.^len^aThe main purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept "cosmopolitanism", its current context, the evolution of its implication and the different meanings created debates. Starting with the taxonomy of Kleingeld, our theoretical contribution includes a classification of the cosmopolitanism today. The paper consists of two sections, the first dealing with the development of the concept and the second related to the different meanings that founded in the study of cosmopolitanism.
