^les^aEl modelo capitalista de desarrollo ha tenido en las empresas y en los empresarios a unos de sus protagonistas económicos más importantes. La manera de estudiarlos ha diferido en el espacio y en el tiempo. Por ello, el objeto del presente artículo es analizar, desde el punto de vista historiográfico y a través de la confrontación y comparación de estudios de caso, el comportamiento empresarial a largo plazo.^len^aThe capitalist way of development has got in the enterprises and in the entrepreneurs one of the most important economic actors. The way to study them has changed in space and time. The objective of this paper is to analyze, from the historiographic point of view, and through the confrontation and comparison of case studies, the enterprise behavior in the long term.
