^les^aEl relieve del fondo oceánico de la zona económica exclusiva de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos es considerablemente más complejo que el del continente. En él están presentes las morfoestructuras principales reconocidas para el océano mundial: plataforma y talud continentales, pie del continente, trincheras, cuencas de mar marginal, montañas aisladas, crestas montañosas diversas (de arco insular, de planicie abisal, borderland), dorsal y fosa rift. Las anteriores se representan en una carta de morfoestructuras que complementa a las existentes fisiográficas y geológicas de la tierra firme. En el fondo oceánico mexicano se llevan a cabo intensos movimientos que han influido e influyen en la formación del relieve submarino y continental.^len^aThe topography of the oceanic bottom of the exclusive economical zone of Mexico is considerably more complex than the one of the continent. In it, the principal recognized morphostructures for the world Ocean area present: shelf, continental slope, continental rise, trenchs, marginal marine basins, seamounts, diverse ridges (island arc, of abyssal plains, borderland), midoceanic ridges and rift valley. The before mentioned are represented in a morphostructure chart, which complements the existing ones on the physiography and geology of continental land. In the Mexican Oceanic Bottom, intense movements take place, which have influenced and influence the formation of submarine and continental topography.
