El contenido editorial brasileño se construye básicamente a partir de la producción de las grandes agencias transnacionales de noticias. Estas reportan un hecho periodístico orientado hacia lectores norteamericanos y europeos. El advenimiento de internet, que en teoría permite la consulta de fuentes diversificadas de información en incluso el acceso a sitios latinoamericanos, no cambió las rutinas profesionales ni presentó un perfil de informaciones diferenciado a los lectores brasileños. Se escribe poco de los países de la región y lo poco que se dice siempre está cargado de un contexto sensacionalista, grotesco, que privilegia lo negativo.

The latin-american contents published at brazilian press are, basically, supplied by transnational news agencies; even so those agencies work with a journalistic framing seeking the north american and europeans audiences. The internet resource, which in thesis allows an easy consultation with no charge to different sources of information, including the latin-american news sites, did not change the professional routines, and consequently did not represented for the brazilian lectors a new information framing. At the brazilian press there is no much news about Latin-America region, and the little information provided is charged with sensationalism and grotesque looking, privileging a negative editorial treatment.
