^les^aEste ensayo analiza críticamente algunos pasajes en la obra del lingüista alemán Wilhelm von Humboldt (1767-1835), que afectan al intento de definición del objeto de la reflexión sobre la palabra y plantean, a su vez, la problemática que implica la reflexión del lenguaje sobre sí mismo: ni el objeto ni las relaciones entre los conceptos metodológicos pueden ser definidos inequívocamente, y esto conduce a momentos aporéticos.^len^aThis paper analyze critically some passages in the work of the German linguist Wilhelm von Humboldt (1767-1835), which affect the attempt to define the scope of the reflection on the word and raise, in turn, the problem involving reflection language about himself: neither the object nor the relationship between methodological concepts can be defined unambiguously, and this leads to aporetic moments.
