^les^aEn plena Revolución Mexicana ocurrió un hecho insólito. El llamado "ejército federal", preparado para la guerra, fue derrotado por otro, el "ejército revolucionario", surgido al calor de la lucha armada. Qué fue lo que sucedió. Qué fue lo que falló. Desde nuestro punto de vista, lo que falló fue la logística militar implementada por Porfirio Díaz y mantenida por Francisco I. Madero. Al ascender al poder en febrero de 1913, Victoriano Huerta buscó corregir las cosas, pero fue demasiado tarde. Aumentó el tamaño del ejército y lo distribuyó en forma más racional por todo el país, pero la revolución se había tornado incontrolable. Los generales, profesionales en el arte de la guerra, fueron humillados y sufrieron una derrota tras otra. Por su parte, la tropa asumió una conducta inesperada. En la primera oportunidad desertaba.
