El centro de este escrito no es hacer una biografía de La Boétie, sino presentar y pensar sus ideas. Su obra contiene una enorme importancia aun en nuestro tiempo. Obra por antonomasia política, de escala -para muchos- antihobbesiana, centra su atención en tres puntos medulares: en el problema de la servidumbre (voluntaria de pueblos y hombres), en el de la educación, como base de la conducta humana, y en el de la libertad.

Se somete a la consideración del lector algunos ángulos de reflexión política desde la filosofía para replanteamos no sólo a algunos de los centros del Estado, sino a la cons-trucción de lo que somos en él.

The center of this writing is not a biography of La Boétie, but to present and to for-mulate his ideas. His work contains a huge importance even so in our periodo Excellent political works against Hobbes and concentrated his attention in three points: the problem of voluntary servitude (voluntary of the people and the men), education as the base of human behaviour and the liberty.

Subject to the lector consideration a few angles of political reflection about philosophy, to reconsider not only the center of the Statehood but al so the construction of the one we live in.
