Se presenta el caso de una niña de seis años que acude a urgencias por traumatismo craneoencefálico leve, pero en la exploración física no se identificaron datos anormales. Se toma radiografía y tomografía de cráneo encontrando el signo radiológico denominado “cráneo en cobre batido”. Este hallazgo se considera una variante normal, ante la ausencia de datos clínicos compatibles con cráneo hipertensivo.

This is a six-year-old girl who came to the emergency room due to a mild head injury; no abnormal data were identified on physical examination. X-rays and tomography of the skull were taken, finding the radiological sign called “beaten copper skull”. In the absence of clinical data compatible with intracranial hypertension, this sign is considered normal.
