<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2594-13212021000100204&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2594-13212021000100204&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2594-13212021000100204&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Antecedentes: Los hongos micorrizógenos arbusculares (HMA) pueden establecer una asociación mutualista hongo-planta, sin embargo, dada la complementariedad funcional es de esperarse que si el ambiente donde se desarrollan es alterado, también ellos cambiarán, lo cual se verá reflejado en su capacidad para formar la interacción. Esto puede ser evaluado a través del potencial de inóculo.  Objetivo: Estimar el número de propágulos de HMA en cuatro usos de suelo en Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz, para las temporadas de secas y lluvias.  Métodos: Por temporada, se colectó suelo y se aplicó el método del número más probable y se determinó el porcentaje de colonización micorrícica.  Resultados y conclusiones: El porcentaje de colonización total fue mayor en secas (16.2 ± 1.4) y en el potrero (24.59 ± 3.50). El número de propágulos siguió el siguiente orden: potrero &gt; acahual &gt; selva &gt; cultivo. El potrero alcanzó el mayor número de propágulos tanto en lluvias como secas, mientras que el cultivo tuvo los menores valores. Las técnicas agrícolas tienen un efecto muy negativo en la capacidad de los HMA para establecer la relación mutualista y los potreros con el mayor número de propágulos pueden ser un reservorio de los HMA.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Background: Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can form a mutualistic fungus-plant association, however, given the functional complementarity it is expected that if the environment where they grow is altered, these fungi will also change, as well as their capability to establish the interaction. This can be evaluated through the inoculum potential.  Objective: Our objective was to estimate the number of AMF propagules in four land uses in Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz, for dry and rainy seasons.  Methods: In each season, soil was collected, and the most probable number method was applied and the percentage of total mycorrhizal colonization was estimated.  Results and conclusions: The total colonization percentage was higher in dry (16.2 ± 1.4) and in the paddock soil (24.59±3.50). Land uses ordered following the number of propagules, remained the same, regardless of the season, paddock&gt; secondary forest&gt; primary forest&gt; maize crop. In both seasons, the paddock soil had the highest number of propagules, while the agricultural management had the lowest values. Agricultural techniques have a very negative effect on the AMF to form the mutualistic association and paddock may be a reservoir of AMF propagules.]]></p></abstract>
