Las tecnologías han influido de forma significativa en todos los campos, y en mayor medida en los temas relacionados con la estadística (Galmacci, 2001). La mayoría de las investigaciones sobre contraste de hipótesis describen errores en la interpretación del nivel de significación y el p-valor (ej., Vallecillos, 1994), existiendo poca presencia de investigaciones de errores sobre el contraste de hipótesis mediante el uso de tecnologías. Esto incentiva la realización de investigaciones con recursos informáticos que están apareciendo cada vez más en el aula, produciéndose una demanda de investigación en este terreno. El presente artículo muestra los resultados de un análisis comparativo en el que se examina la utilización de software SPSS frente al uso de software libre (R) en la enseñanza de estadística a nivel universitario, donde se utilizan ambos software. Se analizan los conflictos que aparecen en los estudiantes al utilizar ambos paquetes estadísticos en base al proceso de enseñanza, y se estudian aspectos cognitivos importantes en el aula mediante la aplicación de test validados anteriormente en otras investigaciones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract. Technologies have influenced significantly in all fields, and to a greater extent in subjects related to statistics (Galmacci, 2001). Most of the hypothesis testing investigations describe errors in the interpretation of the level of significance and p-value (eg, Vallecillos, 1994), and there is little presence of error investigations on the hypothesis contrast through the use of technologies. This encourages the carrying out of investigations with computer resources that are appearing more and more in the classroom, producing a demand for research in this field. This article presents the results of a comparative analysis that examines the use of SPSS software versus the use of free software (R) in the teaching of statistics at the University level, where both software are used. The conflicts that appear in students will be analyzed when using both statistical packages based on the teaching process, and important cognitive aspects will be studied in the classroom through the application of previously validated tests in other investigations.]]></p></abstract>
