El presente trabajo aborda el tema de la interdisciplinaridad desde el diseño de Minicursos 3i (M3i) para estudiantes de grado de diversas carreras, donde 3i significa: interdisciplinario (participantes de diversas carreras; aprendizaje basado en problema), intensivo (40 hrs. semanales, 1-2 semanas) e integrado (uso de estrategias múltiples para favorecer el desarrollo de conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes). Los M3i tienen como objetivo principal que los participantes desarrollen o refuercen sus habilidades de colaboración y de trabajo en equipo como acercamiento al trabajo interdisciplinario. Esta estrategia de educación superior se sustenta en el constructivismo como teoría de aprendizaje e integra y aplica conocimientos de psicología social en relación con la interacción en grupos diversos; de psicología de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en aspectos de motivación académica; y la metodología de aprendizaje basado en problemas, profundizando en las características de diseño y evaluación del mismo. Actualmente se trabaja con equipos docentes interdisciplinarios en el diseño e implementación de cursos de carácter electivo que siguen estos lineamientos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Interdisciplinary education is nourished by educational practices that favor integrative processes and constitute a powerful tool for the development of skills necessary to live in a complex and changing world. The present work deals with the subject of interdisciplinarity from the design of 3i Minicourses (3iM) for undergraduate students of various careers, where 3i means: interdisciplinary (participants of diverse careers, problem-based learning), intensive (40 hours per week, 1-2 weeks) and integrated (use of multiple strategies to favor the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes). 3iM&#8217;s main objective is for participants to develop or reinforce their collaborative and teamwork skills as an approach to interdisciplinary work. This higher education strategy is based on constructivism as a theory of learning and integrates knowledge of social psychology in relation to the interaction in diverse groups; psychology of teaching and learning in aspects of academic motivation; and the methodology of problem-based learning, focusing on design and evaluation characteristics. Currently, we are working with interdisciplinary teaching teams in the design and implementation of elective courses that follow these guidelines.]]></p></abstract>
