Para abordar estos temas se exponen los resultados de una extensa revisión de textos, principalmente académicos y oficiales, que discurren sobre el tema del principio de precaución y la nanotecnología. Tras un análisis sistemático, tanto cuantitativo como cualitativo de 90 textos, se presentan los temas principales de discusión, la relevancia de sus argumentos para la discusión, así como las conclusiones derivadas respecto a la congruencia o no de usar el principio de precaución en relación con la nanotecnología.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This text reviews various aspects of the precautionary principle and the views on why it is required or not to be used in the case of the regulation and management of products that apply nanotechnology. To address these issues, the results of an extensive review of mainly academic and official texts on the precautionary principle and nanotechnology are presented. After a systematic analysis, both quantitative and qualitative of 90 texts, the main topics of discussion, the relevance of their arguments for the discussion, as well as the conclusions derived regarding the congruence or otherwise of using the precautionary principle in relation to nanotechnology are presented.]]></p></abstract>
