Este ensayo explora la importancia del pensamiento crítico, la creatividad, el aprender a aprender y la flexibilidad cognitiva en el contexto educativo universitario actual, así como los retos para su implementación. Se concluye que las universidades deben adaptar sus programas académicos para preparar a los estudiantes de manera adecuada ante los desafíos de un mercado laboral caracterizado por una transformación constante. Se hace énfasis en la importancia del papel que juegan tanto profesores como alumnos para tomar la iniciativa y actualizar contenidos sin descuidar el currículo a cumplir.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In a technology-driven world of work, defined by automation and artificial intelligence, university students are faced with the need to acquire new cognitive transferable skills for effective professional performance. This essay explores the importance of critical thinking, creativity, learning to learn, and cognitive flexibility in the current university educational context, as well as the challenges of implementing them. It is concluded that universities must adapt their academic programs to adequately prepare students for the challenges of a labor market characterized by constant transformation. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the role played by both teachers and students to take the initiative and update content without neglecting the official curriculum.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Em um ambiente de trabalho tecnologicamente avançado, definido pela automação e inteligência artificial, os estudantes universitários enfrentam a necessidade de adquirir novas habilidades cognitivas transversais para um desempenho profissional eficaz. Este ensaio explora a importância do pensamento crítico, da criatividade, do aprender a aprender e da flexibilidade cognitiva no contexto atual da educação universitária, bem como os desafios de sua implementação. Conclui que as universidades devem adaptar seus programas acadêmicos para preparar adequadamente os estudantes para os desafios de um mercado de trabalho em constante mudança. Enfatiza-se o importante papel desempenhado tanto pelo corpo docente quanto pelos estudantes na iniciativa de atualizar o conteúdo sem descuidar do currículo.]]></p></abstract>
