Para el logro de dicho objetivo se aplicaron la Escala de Procrastinación Académica y el Inventario SISCO para el estudio del estrés académico a una muestra de 300 alumnos de una institución de educación media superior. Sus resultados indican diversos niveles de relación y no relación entre ambas variables, tomando como base sus dimensiones constitutivas o su valor general como variables. Se concluye la necesidad de revisar el concepto de procrastinación y su relación con la autorregulación académica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The main objective of this research is to determine the relationship between academic procrastination and academic stress in high school students. In order to achieve this objective, the Academic Procrastination Scale and the SISCO Inventory for the study of academic stress were applied to a sample of 300 students from a higher education institution. Their results indicate different levels of relationship and not relationship between both variables based on their constitutive dimensions or their general value as variables. It concludes the need to review the concept of procrastination and its relation to academic self-regulation.]]></p></abstract>
