Individual powders and their mixtures with amoxicillin and captopril are evaluated. Tablets of unlubricated lactose does not allow the perception of a different compactibility. However, with 2% stearic acid is greater the compactibility of SuperTab 24AN (D162 N = 231) followed by lactose anhydrous NF (D162 N = 201), Lactopress anhydrous (D162 N = 171) and SuperTab 21AN (D162 = 123 N). Mixing with the drugs decreases the compactibility of the excipients, preserving the previously observed order. It also shows an equalizing effect; the advantage of a carrier over the other is less noticeable in the mixtures.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este estudio explora la compactabilidad de SuperTab 24AN, comparada contra SuperTab 21AN, Lactopress anhidra y lactosa NF anhidra. Se evalúan los polvos individuales y sus mezclas con amoxicilina y captopril. La compactibilidad de la lactosa sin lubricar no permite la percepción de una compactibilidad diferente. Sin embargo, con 2% de ácido esteárico es mayor la compactibilidad de SuperTab 24AN (D162 = 231 N) seguida de lactosa anhidra NF (D162 = 201 N), Lactopress anhidra (D162 = 171 N) y SuperTab 21AN (D162 = 123 N). El mezclado con los fármacos disminuye la compactibilidad de los excipientes, manteniendo el orden observado con anterioridad. Además, muestra también un efecto igualatorio; la ventaja de un excipiente sobre los otros es menos perceptible en las mezclas.]]></p></abstract>
