The prototype filter is a cascade of a second order recursive running sum (RRS) filter, known as a cosine filter, and its corresponding expanded versions. As a result, no multipliers are required to implement this filter.]]></p></abstract>

The prototype filter is a cascade of a second order recursive running sum (RRS) filter, known as a cosine filter, and its corresponding expanded versions.
