En este trabajo se empleó como fase líquida una solución de CaCl2 al 0.1M y &#945;&#8722;Ca3(PO4)2 como fase sólida para la preparación del cemento. Con objeto de reforzar las propiedades mecánicas del CPC se agregaron fibras de colágena a la composición de la cerámica, produciendo tres diferentes formulaciones. Cada formulación fue analizada para obtener las correspondientes curvas de esfuerzo-deformación; se obtuvo el Módulo de Young, la fuerza de compresión máxima, y las regiones plástica y elástica para cada una.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The bone cement of calcium phosphate (CPC) are bioactives, osteoconductives and resorbables cements. In this work, as liquid phase a NaCl 0.1M solution was used and as solid phase &#945;&#8722;Ca3(PO4)2 was used, for making this cement. In order to enhance the mechanical properties of CPC, collagen fibers were added to the composition of the ceramics. In this paper we studied three different formulations of cement; stress-strain curves were obtained; the Young's modulus, maximum compressive strength and elastic and plastic regions for each formulation were determined.]]></p></abstract>

<body><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font face="verdana" size="2">Los cementos &oacute;seos de fosfatos de calcio (CPC), son cementos bioactivos osteoconductores y reabsorbibles. En este trabajo se emple&oacute; como fase l&iacute;quida una soluci&oacute;n de CaCl<sub>2</sub> al 0.1M y &#945;&minus;<i>Ca</i><sub>3</sub>(<i>PO</i><sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> como fase s&oacute;lida para la preparaci&oacute;n del cemento.
