Por medio de un estudio de caso a cinco directivos escolares de centros educativos situacionalmente desfavorecidos, esta investigación indaga en su capacidad de desarrollar el liderazgo pedagógico. A través de entrevistas semiestructuradas se recogen sus testimonios. El proceso de estructuración de la información considera la técnica del análisis de contenido. Como resultado emergieron categorías que representan la capacidad de desarrollar un liderazgo pedagógico, a las cuales se les asignaron índices de frecuencia representados en gráficas. Finalmente, la teoría fundamentada refleja un constructo narrativo que interpreta los resultados del estudio.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article addresses the pedagogical leadership of school administration, which is considered a factor of educational improvement. Through a case study of the administration of five schools in impoverished areas, the study focuses on the ability to develop pedagogical leadership. Semi-structured interviews were used to compile opinions. The process of structuring the information employed the technique of content analysis. As a result, categories emerged that represent the ability to develop pedagogical leadership. The categories were assigned indexes of frequency that were represented on graphs. In conclusion, grounded theory reflects the narrative that interprets the study results.]]></p></abstract>
