Resumen
En la actualidad se ha reconocido la influencia de la heterogeneidad del paisaje en la estructura de las comunidades vegetales. A escalas geográficas, la dinámica del relieve es determinante para explicar la estructura del paisaje en zonas áridas. Situación que se presenta en el valle semiárido de Zapotitlán de las Salinas, Puebla, en donde se definieron cuatro unidades de paisaje que dependen de la dinámica geomorfológica. Estas unidades influyen significativamente en la distribución de las principales especies de las comunidades vegetales dentro de la cuenca.
Abstract
]]> In the recent years, the influence of the landscape's heterogeneity in the structure of plant communities has been recognized. In terms of geographic scales, the geomorphological dynamic is very important to explain the landscape structure in arid lands. The Zapotitlán de las Salinas basin illustrate this situation, where four landscape units may be identified. The landscape units are a result of the geomorphological dynamic. In the same way, the landscape units influence the principal species distribution of the plant communities in the basin.
