Destino como tejido, muerte, repartición equitativa, secuencia de eventos a ocurrir más o menos fija, fuerza abstracta o entidad religiosa diferenciada. En este artículo se presenta la posibilidad de que los usos numéricos dentro del poema funcionen como un recurso narrativo y simbólico que anuncia a las fuerzas del destino, relacionando y comparando los conceptos de &#8220;número&#8221; y &#8220;Moira&#8221;, mientras se da cuenta de las asimetrías y simetrías presen­tes en la obra.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Destiny in Iliad is a problem that has been reviewed from a myriad of approaches. Fate meaning weaving, death, equitable apportionment, more or less fixed sequence of events to occur, abstract force or distinct religious entity. In this paper we consider the possibility that the numerical uses within the poem function as a narrative and symbolic resource announcing the forces of Fate, relating and comparing the concepts of &#8220;Number&#8221; and &#8220;Moira&#8221;, while accounting for the asymmetries and symmetries present in the poem.]]></p></abstract>
