También se deriva otra expresión para mostrar la relación entre el error piramidal de cada una de las superficies pulidas del pentaprisma y la desviación del haz de salida con respecto al plano definido por los haces ideales de entrada y salida. Por último, se explica un método para construir un pentaprisma con un error particular en el ángulo de desviación y que hace uso de las ecuaciones halladas. El pentaprisma construido se empleó para caracterizar una máquina de medición por coordenadas (MMC) de grandes dimensiones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[An expression is derived showing the relationship between the errors in the 90 and 112.5 degree angles of a pentaprism and the angle formed between entrance and exit beams (angle of deviation). A relationship between the pyramidal errors of each prism surface and the deviation of the exit beam from the plane defined by the entrance and ideal exit beams is also deduced. Finally, a method for constrúcting a pentaprism with a particular error making use of these derivations is discussed. The fabricated pentaprism is used to characterize a coordinate measuring machine of large dimensions.]]></p></abstract>

Tambi&eacute;n se deriva otra expresi&oacute;n para mostrar la relaci&oacute;n entre el error piramidal de cada una de las superficies pulidas del pentaprisma y la desviaci&oacute;n del haz de salida con respecto al plano definido por los haces ideales de entrada y salida. Por &uacute;ltimo, se explica un m&eacute;todo para construir un pentaprisma con un error particular en el &aacute;ngulo de desviaci&oacute;n y que hace uso de las ecuaciones halladas.
