H.B.K) pertenece a la familia Malpighiaceae. El género Byrsonima tiene distribución noetropical y presenta gran diversidad con más de 100 especies. El objetivo del trabajo fue caracterizar la variabilidad morfológica y genética del fruto de nanche nativo. El trabajo se realizó durante el año 2020, se hizo una recolecta en huertos comerciales en San Lorenzo (SL&#8217;s), municipio de Ruiz, Nayarit, se realizó una caracterización morfológica, fisico-química y molecular, el análisis estadístico se efectuó con el paquete (SAS) ver.9.0 y los datos genéticos fueron analizados con el software GenAlEx. Los genotipos SL-4 y SL-8 (cultivados) y de los nativos NAT-5 y NAT-6, son de selección del productor, que optan por las siguientes características: nanche grande, dulce, agridulce o agrio, y de color amarillo. Se encontraron ocho marcadores microsatélites ISSRs con los cuales se obtiene polimorfismo, el análisis de conglomerados formo cuatro grupos con las 15 accesiones de nanche, el número máximo de alelos fue siete, la heterocigosis esperada (He) se obtuvo en un rango de 0.58-0.62, la cual es una medida de la diversidad genética, estos índices indican alta diversidad genética de nanche en los municipios de Nayarit.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The nanche (Byrsonima crassifolia (L.) H.B.K) belongs to the Malpighiaceae family. The genus Byrsonima has a noetropical distribution and is highly diverse with more than 100 species. The objective of this work was to characterize the morphological and genetic variability of the native nanche fruit. The work was carried out during the year 2020, a collection was made in commercial orchards in San Lorenzo (SL&#8217;s), municipality of Ruiz, Nayarit, a morphological, physicochemical and molecular characterization was carried out, the statistical analysis was carried out with the package (SAS) ver.9.0 and the genetic data were analyzed with the GenAlEx software. The SL-4 and SL-8 genotypes (cultivated) and the native NAT-5 and NAT-6, are selected by the producer, who opts for the following characteristics: large, sweet, bittersweet or sour nanche, and yellow in color. Eight ISSRs microsatellite markers were found with which polymorphism is obtained, the cluster analysis formed four groups with the 15 nanche accessions, the number of alleles was seven maximums, the expected heterozygosity (He) was obtained in a range of 0.58-0.62, which is a measure of genetic diversity, these indices indicate high genetic diversity of nanche in the municipalities of Nayarit.]]></p></abstract>
