Se realizó un estudio exploratorio de carácter descriptivo en el que participaron 549 estudiantes de tres universidades públicas mexicanas. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes dicen tomar apuntes con una frecuencia alta y consideran la toma de apuntes un recurso muy útil para el aprendizaje. Además, dicen que es fácil e interesante, y que anotan la información mayoritariamente en formato papel priorizando el uso de información proveniente del profesor durante su exposición oral así como la proveniente de la presentación que éste utiliza en clase. Se identifican diferencias significativas entre la visión de los estudiantes sobre la toma de apuntes y las variables estudiadas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O alvo deste estudo é identificar a visão dos estudantes universitários sobre a tomada de notas no contexto educativo mexicano e relacioná-la com o gênero, o semestre cursado e a área de conhecimento. Foi efetuado um estudo exploratório de caráter descritivo do qual participaram 549 estudantes de três universidades públicas mexicanas. Os resultados mostram que os estudantes indicam que fazem apontamentos com muita frequência e consideram a tomada de notas um recurso muito útil para o aprendizado. Além disso, eles manifestam que é fácile interessante, e que anotam as informações principalmente em folhas de papel, priorizando o uso de informações provenientes do professor durante a exposição oral dele, assim como a procedente da apresentação que ele utilizar na aula. São identificadas diferenças significativas entre a visão dos estudantes sobre a tomada de notas e as variantes estudadas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the university students' vision of taking notes in the Mexican educational context and to relate it to gender, the semester being studied and the area of knowledge. A descriptive exploratory study was carried out with 549 students from three Mexican public universities. The results show that students frequently take notes and consider note-taking as a very useful resource for learning. Students say that is easy and interesting, and that their notes are usually written on paper, prioritizing the use of information coming from the teacher during their oral presentation as well as from their presentation in class. significant differences were identified between the students' view on note taking and the variables studied.]]></p></abstract>
