<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2007-09342023000700006&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2007-09342023000700006&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2007-09342023000700006&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Crotalaria pumila Ort es una leguminosa nativa de México con poca información sobre su potencial forrajero con base en su perfil de acumulación durante el verano, por lo que se realizó un estudio con el objetivo de determinar el rendimiento total y por componente durante 2021, para generar información base para decidir sobre la posibilidad de la especie como forrajera. En un área con C. pumila espontánea, se realizaron nueve muestreos semanales, en los que se determinó rendimiento total y por componente: hoja, tallo, flor y vainas, su aporte proporcional al total y número por planta y altura de planta. El análisis estadístico fue para un diseño completamente al azar con tres repeticiones, la variable independiente fue el número de días transcurridos en el verano. Conforme avanzó el verano, los rendimientos totales y de vaina se incrementaron (p&lt; 0.05) el de tallo se mantuvo constante (p&gt; 0.05) y el de hoja disminuyó (p&lt; 0.05) al igual que el número de hojas por planta, el incremento en el rendimiento de vaina se dio con un aumento (p&lt; 0.05) en el número de vainas por planta. El alto rendimiento de vaina permitió asegurar una resiembra natural de C. pumila. El rendimiento total varió de 9 a un poco más de 20 t ha-1. La conclusión es que con base al rendimiento total Crotalaria pumila puede ser una opción de especie forrajera.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Crotalaria pumila Ort. is a legume native to Mexico with little information about its forage potential based on its profile of accumulation during the summer, so a study was carried out with the aim of determining the total yield and the yield by component during 2021 to generate base information to decide regarding the possibility of the species as a forage species. In an area with spontaneous C. pumila, nine weekly samplings were carried out, in which we determined the total yield and yield by components: leaf, stem, flower, and pods, their proportional contribution to the total and number per plant and plant height. The statistical analysis was for a completely randomized design with three repetitions, the independent variable was the number of days elapsed in the summer. As the summer progressed, total and pod yields increased (p&lt; 0.05), stem yield remained constant (p&gt; 0.05), and leaf yield (p&lt; 0.05) and the number of leaves per plant decreased, the increase in pod yield occurred with an increase (p&lt; 0.05) in the number of pods per plant. The high pod yield made it possible to ensure a natural reseeding of C. pumila. The total yield ranged from 9 to just over 20 t ha-1. The conclusion is that based on the total yield, Crotalaria pumila can be a forage species option.]]></p></abstract>
