Entonces, resulta importante considerar la estabilidad del implante, pues es necesaria para la osteointegración y es un requisito indispensable para la rehabilitación del implante, así como para su éxito a largo plazo. Con este propósito, el dispositivo AnyCheck® mide la estabilidad del implante en una forma no invasiva, disminuyendo el riesgo de fracaso en los implantes que sustituyen a los dientes que se han perdido. Objetivo: Determinar la estabilidad de un implante dental mediante el medidor de estabilidad de implantes AnyCheck® de Neobiotech. Presentación del caso: Paciente masculino de 39 años con ausencia del diente 16, se realizó planeación quirúrgica y protésica. Se colocó un implante de Ø 5.00, longitud 10 mm de mis® y se dejó sumergido durante 12 semanas; posteriormente, se midió la estabilidad con el medidor de estabilidad AnyCheck®. Conclusiones: La estabilidad se ve afectada por numerosos factores; sin embargo, dispositivos como el medidor de estabilidad AnyCheck® permiten medir la estabilidad de los implantes dentales de forma no invasiva, y monitorear su evolución a lo largo del tiempo. Además, se puede hacer sin retirar el pilar de cicatrización y por lo tanto sin riesgo de ocasionar reabsorción ósea.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Introduction: Determining the ideal time for functional loading of dental implants represents a complex clinical challenge, as multiple factors are involved and each option presents its own risks, advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, it is important to consider implant stability, because it is necessary for osseointegration and it is an essential requirement for implant rehabilitation, as well as for its long-term success. For this purpose, the Anycheck® device measures implant stability non-invasively, reducing the risk of failure in implants that replace lost teeth. Objective: To determine the stability of a dental implant using the Neobiotech AnyCheck® implant stability meter. Case presentation: 39-year-old male patient with tooth 16 missing. Surgical and prosthetic planning was performed. An Ø 5.00, 10 mm long mis® implant was placed and left submerged for 12 weeks; subsequently, stability was measured with the AnyCheck® dental implant stability meter. Conclusions: Stability is affected by numerous factors, however, devices such as the AnyCheck® stability meter allow the stability of dental implants to be measured non-invasively, and their evolution can be monitored over time. Furthermore, it can be done without removing the healing abutment and therefore without the risk of causing bone resorption.]]></p></abstract>
