El programa se adapta a las necesidades y posibilidades de los estudiantes, y constituye una alternativa de innovación educativa para la educación superior. Se empleó una metodología cualitativa, se utilizó la entrevista, la observación y el estudio de casos como método. La evaluación de necesidades en la etapa diagnóstica reveló potencialidades y carencias de las fuentes de información de la autoeficacia, específicamente los logros de ejecución y la experiencia vicaria. El programa se implementó a partir de tres modalidades de la orientación educativa: charla educativa, talleres de orientación grupal, consultas psicopedagógicas. Las técnicas planificadas permitieron la transformación consciente de la percepción de sí mismo para afrontar situaciones académicas. Se evalúa positivamente con base en su efectividad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ Abstract The research proposes an orientation program to contribute to the development of perceived self-efficacy in academic situations of students of the Pedagogy-Psychology career of the Central University &#8220;Marta Abreu&#8221; of Las Villas. The program adapts to the needs and possibilities of the students, constitutes an alternative of educational innovation for Higher Education. A qualitative methodology was used, interviewing, observation and case studies were used as a method. The evaluation of needs in the diagnostic stage revealed potentialities and shortcomings of the information sources of selfefficacy, specifically the achievements of execution and the vicarious experience. The program was implemented from three modes of educational guidance: educational talk, group orientation workshops, psycho-pedagogical consultations. The planned techniques allowed the conscious transformation of the perception of oneself to face academic situations. It is evaluated positively from its effectiveness.]]></p></abstract>
