Se presenta la evolución de esta industria a nivel global, así como la evolución del enfoque educativo. Para evidenciar el desarrollo de habilidades bajo el enfoque de educación 4.0 en estudiantes, se diseñó e implementó una secuencia didáctica de aprendizaje del tipo exploratorio, bajo el enfoque de pensamiento computacional y activo. Esta secuencia se aplicó a una población de estudiantes de nuevo ingreso a un programa académico de ingeniería (N = 63). Los resultados obtenidos muestran de manera preliminar que se puede llevar a cabo el aprendizaje de conceptos de alto nivel a través del diseño de una secuencia didáctica de bajo costo y que no comprometa la calidad y profundidad de los conceptos abordados así como la contextualización, social y profesional, sobre sus actividades como futuros profesionistas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ Abstract This paper describes an overview of the coexistence between the concepts of industry 4.0 and education 4.0 in Mexico. The evolution of this industry at a global level is presented, as well as the evolution of the educational approach. To demonstrate the development of skills under the education 4.0 approach in students, an exploratory learning sequence was designed and implemented, under the computational and active thinking approaches. This sequence was applied to a population of students of new entry to an academic engineering program (N = 63). The results obtained show in a preliminary way that high-level concepts can be learned through the design of a low-cost didactic sequence, and students show the development of new skills that will be useful in future activities, as students and as engineers.]]></p></abstract>
