Los resultados constatan que los centros optan por ubicar su sitio web en dominios privados y se dirigen fundamentalmente a informar a las familias. Es posible concluir que es necesario un mayor esfuerzo por parte de los centros para mejorar sus sedes virtuales, como su visualización desde dispositivos móviles o destinar más contenido al alumnado para contribuir a mejorar su proceso educativo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: School websites continue to grow in social relevance. Therefore, the general aim of this study is to discover the status of the institutional websites of forty-two private secondary schools in the autonomous community of Cantabria (Spain). The results verify that these schools opt to locate their website in private domains and focus on informing families. The conclusion is that schools need to exert greater efforts in improving their websites&#8217; visualization on mobile devices or sending more content to students to enhance their educational process.]]></p></abstract>
