<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1405-27682022000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1405-27682022000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1405-27682022000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: De acuerdo a la norma oficial Mexicana NOM-004-SAG/GAN-2018, para la producción de miel y especificaciones, Miel: "Es la sustancia dulce natural producida por abejas a partir del néctar de las flores o de secreciones de partes vivas de plantas o de excreciones de insectos succionadores de plantas que quedan sobre partes vivas de las mismas y que las abejas recogen, transforman y combinan con sustancias específicas propias, y depositan, deshidratan, almacenan y dejan en el panal para que madure o pueda añejarse&#8221; (SADER, 2020). Las propiedades de la miel derivan del origen botánico ya que al recolectar el néctar y el polen de las plantas que las abejas visitan también sustraen metabolitos secundarios que pueden ser benéficos para la salud humana y la flora melífera posee características apreciadas en lo ornamental. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar la flora melífera con potencial ornamental y medicinal en los apiarios del estado de Yucatán. Los resultados de este trabajo permitirán potencializar el uso de las plantas en diferentes áreas de la ciencia como en la medicina y en el comercio ornamental. Como parte de la metodología aplicada al presente estudio se colectaron e identificaron las especies que se encontraban cerca de los apiarios, se categorizó cada planta según el valor (melífero, ornamental y medicinal). Posteriormente se realizó una palinoteca con el material colectado que nos sirvió de referencia para determinar el origen botánico de las mieles en el estado de Yucatán. Se identificaron 64 especies en floración durante las visitas a los apiarios que pertenecen a las familias Acanthaceae, Agavaceae, Apocynaceae, Asteraceae, Bignoniaceae, Boraginaceae, Cactaceae, Capparaceae, Commelinaceae, Convolvulaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Lythraceae, Malpighiaceae, Malvaceae, Moringaceae, Oxalidaceae, Passifloraceae, Polygonaceae, Rubiaceae, Rutaceae, Sapindaceae, Sapotaceae, Solanaceae, Urticaceae y Verbenaceae. De las 116 plantas identificadas, 40 fueron de uso melífero, 28 ornamental y 48 con uso medicinal. Se anexaron 50 especies con la descripción morfológica del polen a la palinoteca del Centro de Investigación y Asistencia en Tecnología y Diseño del Estado de Jalisco A.C. (CIATE) Subsede Sureste. Algunas de las mieles examinadas fueron clasificadas como monoflorales de dos especies importantes en el estado Piscidia piscipula y Gymnopodium floribundum.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: According to the official Mexican standard NOM-004-SAG / GAN-2018, for the production of honey and specifications, Honey: "It is the natural sweet substance produced by bees from the nectar of flowers or secretions of living parts of plants or excretions of plant sucking insects that remain on their living parts and that the bees collect, transform and combine with their own specific substances, and deposit, dehydrate, store and leave in the honeycomb so that it can maturage&#8221; (SADER, 2020). The properties derived from the botanical origin of honey, since when collecting nectar and pollen from the plants that bees visit, they also subtract secondary metabolites that can be beneficial to human health. The objective of the study was to identify the melliferous flora with ornamental and medicinal potential in the apiaries of the state of Yucatán. The results of this This work will make it possible to potentiate the use of plants in different areas of science, such as medicine and ornamental trade, as part of the methodology applied to the present study, the species that were near the apiaries were collected and identified, each plant was categorized according to its (melliferous, ornamental and medicinal). Subsequently, a palinoteca was made with the same collected material that served as a reference to determine the botanical origin of the honeys in the state of Yucatan.
