Este estudio determinó el nivel de peligro e impacto ambiental en campo de los plaguicidas asociados al cultivo de trigo (Triticum spp.) en el Valle del Yaqui, Sonora, durante el ciclo agrícola 2021-2022, mediante el modelo del Coeficiente de Impacto Ambiental (CIA) y su valoración en campo (CIAC). Para ello, se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal que incluyó el muestreo de envases vacíos en un centro de acopio y en vertederos clandestinos cercanos a campos agrícolas. Adicionalmente, se entrevistó a técnicos especialistas y agricultores sobre las recomendaciones técnicas que siguen para el uso de plaguicidas. Los plaguicidas de mayor peligro (CIA &gt; 58.3) fueron: epoxiconazol &gt; ciproconazol &gt; imidacloprid &gt; lambda-cihalotrina &gt; bifentrina &gt; piraclostrobina &gt; azoxistrobina &gt; propiconazol &gt; carbendazima &gt; picoxistrobina &gt; paraquat dicloruro &gt; trifloxistrobina &gt; dimetoato &gt; beta-ciflutrina &gt; tebuconazol &gt; fluroxipir-meptil &gt; sulfoxaflor &gt; tifensulfurón-metil. Los productos comerciales con mayor impacto ambiental (CIAC &gt; 8.9) fueron: Velfosato (glifosato-isopropilamina al 41 %: 4.4 L/ha), Insignia Super (epoxiconazol al 14.07 % + piraclostrobina al 22.87 %: 0.5 L/ha), y Danadim 400 (dimetoato al 38.7 %: 0.75 L/ha), dentro de los grupos de herbicidas, fungicidas e insecticidas, respectivamente. Estos resultados respaldan la necesidad de adoptar prácticas agrícolas alineadas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, que reduzcan y eliminen el uso de plaguicidas de alta peligrosidad e impacto ambiental.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The adverse effects of pesticides in agriculture represent a challenge for human health, sustainability and food security. This study determined the level of hazard and environmental impact in the field of pesticides associated with wheat (Triticum spp.) cultivation in the Yaqui Valley, Sonora, during the 2021-2022 agricultural cycle, using the Environmental Impact Quotient (EIQ) model and its field assessment (EIQF). For this purpose, a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out that included the sampling of empty containers in a collection center and in clandestine dumps near agricultural fields. In addition, technical specialists and farmers were interviewed about the technical recommendations they follow for the use of pesticides. The pesticides with the highest EIQ (&gt; 58.3) were: epoxiconazole &gt; cyproconazole &gt; imidacloprid &gt; lambda-cyhalothrin &gt; bifenthrin &gt; pyraclostrobin &gt; azoxystrobin &gt; propiconazole&gt; carbendazim &gt; picoxystrobin &gt; paraquat dichloride &gt; trifloxystrobin &gt; dimethoate &gt; beta-cyfluthrin &gt; tebuconazole &gt; fluroxypyr-methyl &gt; sulfoxaflor &gt; thifensulfuron-methyl.
